74011 (2024). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Children: Listed by date, what refurbishments, if any, has she overseen at Epuni since becoming Minister?

Hon Karen Chhour: The following refurbishments have taken place since I became Minister for Children: • July 2024 – Te Tumanako Unit Refurbishments (including new paint, floors, acoustic panels, and window treatments) • August 2024 – Te Manawanui Unit Refurbishments (including new paint, floors, acoustic panels, and window treatments) • September 2024 – Exterior electric gate and fence upgrade • September 2024 – Energy Efficiency Audit, with upgrade works to follow • Underway – School Sensory Room fitout. Note oversight of refurbishments to Oranga Tamariki residences is the responsibility of the Chief Executive.
