73969 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: How many roles, if any, did the Minister's departments, if any, lose from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, and how many of these roles, if any, were in the Otago region?

Hon Nicola Willis: Between 30 November 2023 and 1 November 2024 there was 1 role formally disestablished through a change process. The Treasury Regulatory Team also transferred to the new Ministry for Regulation. This included 10 roles. The Treasury does not have any employees in the Otago region. We have interpreted “lose” to refer to a formal change process or transfer. RBNZ officials have advised nil.
