73965 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How many roles, if any, did the Minister's departments, if any, lose from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, and how many of these roles, if any, were in the Otago region?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that, between 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, the Ministry of Education disestablished 200 occupied roles. Of these, three were in the Otago region. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority disestablished 52 occupied roles over this time period, none of which were within the Otago region. The Education Review Office disestablished one occupied role over this time period. It was not based in the Otago region.
