73950 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: How many roles, if any, did the Minister's departments, if any, lose from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, and how many of these roles, if any, were in the Otago region?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC also hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery. I am not the Responsible Minister; the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 74000 (2024).
