Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that 878 individuals, who are current validated patched or prospect gang members on the National Gang List, have been charged with an offence between 1 September 2024 and 31 October 2024, with 494 charged in September and 472 charged in October. Please note that gang information is snapshot data, and some of these individuals may not have been gang members at the time of the charge, and conversely, there may have been people who were gang members at the time of the charge but are no longer recorded as gang members. Data in this response is drawn from a dynamic operational database and is subject to change as new information is recorded or updated.
