73861 (2024). Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for Children: How have the needs of Rainbow and takatāpui rangatahi, especially trans and irawhiti youth, been considered and incorporated, if at all, in the military-style academy programme pilot?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that each of the young people participating in the Military-Style Academy Pilot had clinical assessments and were supported throughout by a senior psychologist. They also had individual plans put in place that were tailored for their needs.
