Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am focused on re-introducing a livestock export system that provides economic support to farmers and rural communities, while maintaining the highest animal welfare standards including for livestock vessels. Targeted engagement on technical and operational details, including the configuration of different types of ships that may be available, will occur during November and December. The public will have the opportunity to comment on any proposals in 2025.
