Hon Brooke van Velden: Corrected reply: Of the boards managed by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department), I am only responsible for those within the Internal Affairs portfolio. I am advised by the Department that selection criteria are determined by the subject matter expertise required for each body and are tailored to account for the skills and experience currently held by the body at the time of the appointment. I refer the member to the attached table at Appendix A, which lists the boards and committees within my portfolio, and the most recent selection criteria as contained, verbatim, in appointment documents and disclosure forms.
