72878 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health

Written Question
Published date: 22 Nov 2024
72878 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 in achieving the individual measure ‘95% of Māori and Pacific to have had one dose of the MMR vaccine at 15-months’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 72877 (2024). In addition, I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the primary care immunisation pre-call/recall funding package for children up to 24 months of age continued. This covers the time and effort required for general practice to undertake pre-call and recall for childhood immunisation, including MMR, and where required, referral to other vaccination service providers.
