72728 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: How many Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024 and what was the cost, if any?

Hon Nicola Willis: Each year the Public Service Commission (along with other Public Service departments and departmental agencies) are required to report on how much they have spent on Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) or workplace counselling in the financial year, through Select Committee Annual Reviews. The 2023/24 cost of the EAP will be publicly available shortly after the upcoming select committee annual review of the Public Service Commission. I am advised that for the 2023/24 financial year, 144 appointments occurred between Public Service Commission employees and the EAP.
