72715 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Was the Treaty Response unit in Oranga Tamariki disestblished in the 2024 restructure, and if so what roles, if any, are now responsible for Treaty response in Oranga Tamariki and which teams are these roles in, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that four roles within the Treaty Response unit were disestablished through the 2024 organisational restructure, consisting of: • Director Treaty Response (x1) • Principal Advisor Treaty Response (x1) • Senior Advisor Treaty Response (x1) • Advisor Treaty Response (x1) I am further advised one role had a change of reporting line to the External Monitoring and Reviews team.
