72699 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What Safety of Children in Care roles were disestablished in the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure and what, if any, new roles were established?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that five Safety of Children in Care roles were disestablished through the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure, consisting of: • Manager Safety of Children in Care (x1) • Senior Advisor Safety of Children in Care (x2) • Senior Analyst Safety of Children in Care (x1) • Lead Advisor Safety of Children in Care (x1) I am further advised the four new roles were established as part of the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure, consisting of: • Manager Care and Practice Standards Assurance (x1) • Senior Practice Quality Advisor (x2) • Senior Analyst Quality Systems (x1)
