72692 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: How many Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023 and what was the cost, if any?

Hon Chris Penk: I am advised by Land Information New Zealand that from 1 October 2022 to 1 November 2023 there were 306 scheduled client appointments with the service provider. The total cost was $70,329 (excludes GST). This data has previously been captured quarterly resulting in data being provided from 1 October 2023. The service provider does not capture unscheduled consultations or onsite grief counselling following the loss of a team member.
