72653 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How many health and safety incidents, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by officials at the Ministry for the Environment that during the period 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024: - 13 incidents were reported. I am advised by officials at the Environmental Protection Authority that during the period 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024: - 15 incidents were reported. All incidents were managed by the department's Safety and Wellbeing Teams with corrective actions being put in place with a focus on ensuring employee wellbeing.
