72643 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Development: How many health and safety incidents, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024?

Hon Melissa Lee: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment reports on these cases annually, there were 2,084 wellbeing, health, safety, and security events reported in the 2023/24 financial year. Between 1 July 2024 – 31 October 2024, MBIE advise there were a further 667 wellbeing, health, safety, and security events reported.
