72638 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: How many health and safety incidents, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that for the period 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023, a total of 185 health and safety incidents were reported at the New Zealand Customs Service. Of the total number of incidents reported, 126 were non serious harm related, and 58 were near misses. During the period there were no harm events reported.
