72628 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How many Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024 and what was the cost, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, 2,217 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations occurred, at a cost of $350,806.75 (excluding GST). I am advised by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority that 121 EAP consultations occurred during the same period, at a cost of $25,169 (excluding GST). I am advised by the Education Review Office that, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, 72 EAP consultations occurred during the same period, at a cost of $12,410.13 (excluding GST).
