72613 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What, if any Oranga Tamariki regional management structure changes occurred in the 2024 restructure, and, if any, is the shift to new structures now complete?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that as part of the 2024 restructure, 22 regional management roles were disestablished, consisting of: • Māori, Partnerships and Communities Regional Manager (x5) • Caregiver Recruitment and Support Regional Operations Manager (x2) • Regional Manager (x15) I am further advised 10 new regional management roles were established, consisting of: • Tamariki and Whānau Services National Commissioner (x2) • Regional Commissioner (x8)
