72607 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How many, if any, legal positions were disestablished in the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure and how many, if any, new roles established, listed by role and team?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki 14 legal roles were disestablished through the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure, consisting of: • Team Administrator National Office (x1) • One Solicitor National Office (x1) • Regional Solicitor (x4) • Regional Litigation Support Officer (x1 vacant role) • Regional Litigation Manager (x1 vacant role) • Regional Senior Solicitor Litigation (x6) I am further advised there were no new roles established within the Legal team as part of the 2024 Oranga Tamariki restructure.
