72589 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: How many health and safety incidents, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through a Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 72798 (2024).
