72572 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023 and what was the cost, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by Tertiary Education Commission from 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023, there were 138 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, costing $21,650 (excluding GST). I am advised that, from 1 November 2022 to 1 November 2023, Education New Zealand funded 30 Employee Assistance Programme sessions, at a cost of $5,561 (excluding GST).
