72569 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, if any, occurred in the Minister's departments, if any, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024 and what was the cost, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by Tertiary Education Commission from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, there were 92 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) consultations, costing $15,307 (excluding GST). I am advised that, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, Education New Zealand funded 88 Employee Assistance Programme sessions, at a cost of $17,602 (excluding GST). In relation to New Zealand Qualification Authority and Ministry of Education, I refer the Member to the Minister of Education's response to written parliamentary question 72628 (2024). I am advised that, from 1 November 2023 to 1 November 2024, Education New Zealand funded 88 Employee Assistance Programme sessions, at a cost of $17,602 (excluding GST).
