Hon Penny Simmonds: In my capacity as Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills, my office has declined meetings/event attendance with the following organisations/individuals during the period 14 October to 1 November 2024: Events: Apprentice of the Year Awards - Master Builders - 8 November, Auckland. Wintec 100-year celebrations - Wintec - 1 November, Hamilton. TEU Academic Freedom Conference 2024 - Tertiary Education Union - 7-8 November, online. 2024 Research Honours Aotearoa – Whanganui a Tara Wellington - Royal Society Te Apārangi - 28 November, Wellington.
