Hon Simon Watts: In my capacity as the Minister of Climate Change, I have received three briefings on the distributional impacts of climate mitigation policy: 28/02/2024 – BRF-4354: Meeting legal requirements for mitigating distributional impacts in ERP2 - MfE Briefing 27/03/2024 – BRF-4502: Managing the impacts of policies in the second emission reduction plan – Joint MfE/MSD/MBIE Briefing 2/10/2024 - BRF-5302: Strategy for mitigating the impact of ERP2 actions – MfE Briefing Additionally, I received the Climate Change Commission’s advice on ERP2, which also advises on the distributional impacts of climate mitigation policy. 12 December 2023 - 2023 Advice on the direction of policy for the Government’s second emissions reduction plan – Climate Change Commission
