72065 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 28 October 2024, listed by agency, title and date received?
Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery between 28 October – 1 November 2024: - Aide Mémoire to support Ministerial meeting with Stickered Titirangi Area Residents (STAR), 31 October 2024 - NEMA Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 1 November 2024 I received one document on 31 October 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, jointly with the Prime Minister, I received the following document: North Island Weather Events (NIWE): Monthly Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects, 31 October 2024. I also received from officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet the following report: 2023/24 Annual Review Draft Responses, 1 November 2024. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
