Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the Minister agree with Associate Professor Giles Newton-Howes, general adult consultant psychiatrist, that reducing the police presence at mental health callouts "will likely increase psychosocial distress in the community and increase this distress in areas where a form of containment that what was present is now not"; if so, what, if anything, will he do to address this?
