71494 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Did the banking sector report to the Minister on a voluntary reimbursement scheme for victims of authorised payment scams in September 2024, and if so, will the Minister release this report to the public?

Hon Andrew Bayly: Yes, the banking sector provided me a report on international models for reimbursement schemes in September, along with a draft proposal. I am currently engaging with the sector on next steps. The Member may wish to contact the banking sector to request a copy of its report.
