71148 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 67879 (2024), what method of gathering information, if any, has been used to determine that parents have considered their children's wellbeing in deciding to home educate their children?

Hon Erica Stanford: My response to 67879 was general, not specific. The Ministry’s role is to assess the home education application and decide whether the education programme meets the statutory test that the child will be taught as regularly and as well as in a registered school.
