Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Is the Minister aware that Professor Richard Porter, head of the department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Otago, Christchurch, is part of a team working on a study on faith-based group therapy for young Muslim people, which, if successful, it was hoped could expand; if so, would he look at this as a possible option to expand within mental health services?
