71143 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Defence: Has the Minister or Ministry officials met with representatives from Rocket Lab, Marops, Metrea, or Nova Systems in the last 18 months and if so, what were the meeting dates, agendas, and any outcomes or decisions resulting from these meetings?

Hon Judith Collins: Details relating to my Ministerial diaries are available at www.beehive.govt.nz/minister/hon-judith-collins-kc. At the 39th Space Foundation Symposium in the US in April 2024, Ministry of Defence officials met representatives of a number of NZ space companies. Ministry officials have regular contact with Nova Systems and Marops as they provide services for major Defence capability projects.
