Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘Develop a plan to ensure health careers are accessible, equitable and inclusive for Tāngata whaikaha | Disabled people’ under section 4.3 ‘Health of Tāngata whaikaha | Disabled people’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand is currently preparing a comprehensive report on the implementation of the Interim New Zealand Health Plan | Te Pae Tata which finished on 30 June 2024. This report will cover all actions in the plan and will be audited by the Auditor-General and then published.
