69716 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What is the breakdown of total proposed number of units, land cost and total spend of any Kāinga Ora social housing projects on Wrantage Street, New Plymouth and the status of their progression to contract?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that there are four social housing projects on Wrantage Street, New Plymouth with a total of 20 homes proposed. Kāinga Ora has spent $9,290,633 as at 30 September 2024. Eight homes from one project are contracted and under construction, three homes from the second project have been approved to proceed to contract but have not yet been contracted. Two other projects for six and three homes are currently under review.
