69714 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What is the breakdown of total proposed number of units, land cost and total spend of any Kāinga Ora social housing projects on Bledisloe Road, Napier and the status of their progression to contract?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that there are three social housing projects on Bledisloe Road, Napier with a total of 35 homes proposed. Kāinga Ora has spent a total of $1,649,719 as at 30 September 2024. Nine homes from one project have been contracted, seven from another project have been approved to proceed to contract (but are not yet contracted) and 19 from the third contract are under review.
