69684 (2024). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What consultations, if any, are in progress or have been completed in partnership with Workforce Development Councils?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I met with the Chairs of Workforce Development Councils (WDCs) on 31 July 2024 as part of the 2024 Vocational education and training reforms. The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) held consultation sessions with WDCs twelve times between 31 July and 6 September. These sessions involved WDC councils, chief executives, senior leaders, staff and briefings with their respective industries. This is also my answer to written parliamentary question 69686 (2024).
