69682 (2024). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What consultations, if any, are in progress or have been completed regarding the Unified Funding System for Workforce Development Councils?

Hon Penny Simmonds: None. Budget 2024 discontinued funding for Workforce Development Councils from 1 July 2025. Roles in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system are to be confirmed by the VET re-design work. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 69685 (2024).
