Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 to achieve the expectation ‘Deliver immunisation services that meet the needs of communities, especially for those with the poorest immunisation rates, including Māori and Pacific peoples’ under the objective ‘1.1 Improve access to and choice of primary and community health care services, and diversify the points of entry and support throughout a person’s health care journey’ within the Government Policy Statement on Health 2024–2027?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand will give effect to the Government Policy Statement on Health 2024–2027 via the New Zealand Health Plan. I am further advised that the NZ Health Plan is still being finalised but once approved, Health NZ will report against the plan quarterly. Those quarterly reports will be publicly released.
