69559 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Mental Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the action area ‘Collaborate and co-design with iwi and other Māori organisations, Pacific and Asian communities, young people / rangatahi, and people with lived experience of gambling harm to prevent and minimise gambling harm’ under ‘Objective 4: Strengthen the health and health equity of Māori, Pacific peoples, Asian peoples and young people / rangatahi’ within the Ministry of Health’s Strategy to Prevent and Minimise Gambling Harm 2022/23 to 2024/25?
Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, the 19 new Māori-specific services for preventing and minimising gambling harm all began delivering services across Aotearoa. The services are made up of 15 local clinical services, and four regional public health services.
