Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Mental Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the action area ‘Reduce the stigma attached to gambling harm that prevents people from accessing services and supports’ under ‘Objective 2: Shift cultural and social norms’ within the Ministry of Health’s Strategy to Prevent and Minimise Gambling Harm 2022/23 to 2024/25?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Gambling De-stigmatisation qualitative research reports were received from Matada, Aatea, and Tātou Tātou regarding projects aimed at Pacific, Māori, and Rangatahi priority populations. The findings will inform the development of further projects and resources.
