69505 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education

Written Question
Published date: 06 Nov 2024
69505 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: How often, if at all, should tamariki who benefit from the school lunch programme not expect either wraps, butter chicken curry, lasagne, chicken pasta, or chicken katsu as a meal, expressed as a percentage?
Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the School Lunch Collective will use a national menu on a three week rotation cycle, set each term. The menu is based on what is known to be popular with students and will include a variety of hot and cold meals. Schools and students will be able to provide feedback to the School Lunch Collective. The process for feedback will be confirmed prior to Term 1, 2025. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 69506, 69507, 69508, 69509, and 69708 (2024).
