Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage: Had the Minister or his office made any arrangements whatsoever for an announcement regarding the $15 million for Auckland's St James Theatre this year; if so, what, when had this been planned for and what happened which stopped or delayed this?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: This piece of work is still under negotiation with key stakeholders. I do not consider it to be within the public interest to release further information at this time, as it would likely prejudice the orderly and effective conduct of decision making processes.
