69418 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Has any work been done to reinstate NCEA credits students gained prior to the start of the 2024 academic year to use towards gaining mathematics and literacy co-requisites; if not, why not?

Hon Erica Stanford: No. I am advised by the Ministry of Education that all standards achieved, and their associated credits, are never removed from a learner’s record of achievement. Therefore, no work is needed to reinstate NCEA credits.
