Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 toward the objective ‘Increase the consistency and availability of hepatitis C promotional activities and resources’ under ‘Focus area 1: Awareness and understanding’ in the National Hepatitis C Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to fund access to national hepatitis C awareness raising and promotional materials, including posters and resources developed for the previous awareness campaign. Regional hepatitis C services use these materials on a regular basis.
