69359 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘(Organisations and vendors) adopt existing HISO standards’ under ‘Horizon One’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to produce supporting materials to enable sector adoption of HISO standards. This included updates to the SNOMED New Zealand Edition to support cancer data standards developed with the Cancer Control Agency; an implementation guide for a New Zealand patient summary record, and a set of API standards for digital services.
