69331 (2024). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: What is the total amount, if any, of individuals who arrived into New Zealand on a Work To Residence Visa during the week of 14th October 2024?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that during the week beginning 14 October 2024, a total of seven individuals arrived in New Zealand on a Work to Residence Visa. The number of individuals is based on first arrival after the grant of the visa offshore. First arrivals under the skilled residence Work to Residence pathway are likely to be low due to the requirement to have worked in New Zealand for 24 months and therefore most are granted visas while onshore.
