68191 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (April to June 2024) ‘Establish and network data governance councils’ under ‘Horizon One’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that work on establishing data governance councils is not being pursued because Health New Zealand's direction is to operate data governance at a national level. I also refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 9907 (2024).
