Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (April to June 2024) ‘Review New Zealand health data workforce requirements and planning’ under ‘Horizon Two’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, the data services design work was completed. I have directed Health New Zealand to provide me with a 10-Year Infrastructure Investment Plan, which will guide further digital investment.
