68177 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (April to June 2024) ‘Develop a health data sharing mediation service’ under ‘Horizon Two’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, the Data Governance Group, which comprises staff from Health New Zealand and the Ministry of Health, met to decide on complex and sensitive data sharing and data access requests, guided where appropriate by the Information Release Policy for National Collections data.
