68165 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘Implement people and whānau centred design’ under section 1.1 ‘Valuing the voices of consumers and whanau’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand's National Co-design team was stood up in March, and that during the April to June 2024 quarter, it had continued to focus on using a co-design approach and methodology. The first major project, No One Dies Alone, continued to be implemented in two pilot districts. The co-design team continued supporting a national refresh of Kōrero mai, a whānau and consumer patient escalation project.
