Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to support a range of activities, including: • ‘From the Couch’ - a free 12-week programme that supports people at risk of chronic conditions. • The Heart Health Plan (HHP) pilot continued, which aims to help people create lifestyle goals around making healthier choices. • Healthy Families Invercargill worked with local schools on a ‘School Travel Planning’ initiative. • Healthy Families South Auckland (The Cause Collective) continued to work on influencing urban development in Mangere through a partnership with Kainga Ora and Whenua Warriors. • Healthy Families Rotorua were working in partnership with Kainga Ora and Lakes District Council on a new ‘Kainga Ora - Bike Loan Establishment’ initiative. • Healthy Families South Auckland (Auckland Council) continue to drive the Papatoetoe Food Hub initiative and utilise the learnings and model to replicate this initiative with a new Ngāti Tamaoho Food Hub.
