68139 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘Redesign the universal model of care, working with LMCs and Well Child Tamariki Ora providers to implement a more flexible and responsive model’ under section 2.2 ‘Kahu Taurima | Maternity and early years’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand began working with the National Maternity Monitoring Group to stand-up a technical advisory group to develop a Maternity Commissioning Framework.
I am further advised that during the quarter, six Kahu Taurima prototype partners were also selected to test an updated Child Growth and Development tool and timing.
